I have no plug for #4 socket in the control unit, is it normal?
It is normal, the #4 socket is reserved for factory debug purpose only, just disregard it.
There is a SD card slot in the control box, what is it for?
It is for updating firmware, nothing need to do, we will inform you when we have new firmware ready.
I have a short beeping sound when I connect power cable to the control box, is it normal?
It is normal that the control module beeps when it connects to power the first time.
The door opening speed is a little fast, can it be slow down?
Yes TL105 support two door open modes - NORMAL / FAST. It is simple to switch between them, just hold the control button in the gate until you hear Bee Bee Bee Bee Bee alarm five times.
Can we still open the boot manually?
Yes it can be operated manually even the electronic parts are not functional.
What is the weight limit?
The liftgate can afford 150kg max, it actually depends on vehicles as our kits are designed per different gate weight. Read more in TL105 testing report.
Does it work in winter at -30 celsius?
TL105 can work in -30 celsius, we tested -30 ~ +65 without problem. Read more in TL105 testing report.
Is the power gate lifting system water proof in case of raining?
TL105 tailgate lift system is water proof indeed.
Any change to the dash or original parts?
All cables are designed as plug-n-play, harness adapters included, no need to cut wires. In situation the car do not have factory reserved holes for dash buttons and pole cables, you will have to drill holes for mounting button and routing pole cables, otherwise your car is kept untouched.
